The Evaluation: A Journey Through the Exam Process at Nrithya

Examinations hold significant importance for several reasons, contributing to the overall development, preservation, and propagation of the art forms. Thus we make sure that regular exams are conducted to assess each and every student in our institution

1. Preparation and curriculum The examination journey begins long before the exam day. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that each level builds on the previous one, progressively developing our students' technical skills, artistic expression, and theoretical knowledge. Our institution is affliated to Surobharathi Kalakendra and we are having a particular syllabus that needs to be followed. To familiarize students with the exam format and reduce anxiety, we conduct mock exams. These practice sessions simulate the actual exam environment, allowing students to gauge their readiness and identify areas for improvement.
   

2. Exam Registration and Guidelines As the exam season approaches, we guide our students through the registration process. Clear guidelines are provided to ensure everyone is well-informed about the requirements and expectations. Students submit registration forms along with the examination fee. This formalizes their intent to participate and allows us to schedule the exams efficiently. We distribute detailed syllabus and the required theory notes , study materials to everyone through the whatsapp groups.
   

3. Examination Day The day of the exam is a culmination of weeks of hard work and dedication. We strive to create a supportive environment where students can perform their best. We will be having external examiners assigned by the university. The time slots will be given to each student and turnwise the exam will be conducted. Our coordinators will be also joining to assist and make the students comfortable. Dress Code :Proper attire is essential. Students must adhere to the dress code, which typically includes specific costumes or practice wear appropriate for their dance style.
   

4. Evaluation After the performance, the evaluation process begins. Our examiners are experienced professionals who provide fair and constructive feedback. Each component is scored based on predefined criteria. Theoretical understanding and practical contributes to the final grade.
   

5. Results and Moving Forward The exam journey concludes with the announcement of results, but it also marks the beginning of the next phase of learning. Students receive certificates from the university and this will take 2-3 months of time period , which will be sent to the students as soft copy and will be couriered to their indian address too.
